Celebrate Financial Literacy Month with Us!

Starting April 1st, 2022 the Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission will be kicking off Financial Literacy Month! To celebrate, we have put together a few events to highlight the great financial literacy work being done in Kentucky.

• Kentucky Bank On Network Panel Discussion - April 6th at 10 AM ET

• Erin Waddell of Bank On Louisville and Eli Yussuf of the United Way of the Bluegrass will be discussing how they have brought Bank On to their part of the Commonwealth and how you can too.

• Financial Educators Panel Discussion. A Review of Resources and Tips - April 13th at 4 PM ET

  • Learn about new developments to the Kentucky Financial Educators Network. And, join our panel of educators and financial literacy education providers to hear about their experience teaching and providing financial literacy.

Financial Literacy Research Panel Discussion Moderated by Kentucky State Treasurer Allison Ball - April 20th at 10 AM ET

• Join Treasurer Ball and researchers Dr. Abdullah Al-Bahrani and Dr. Carly Urban to hear about the latest research in financial literacy.

• We are so excited about this slate of events. Each event will be a deep dive into their focus area. Hear more about bringing Bank On to your community, the experience of teaching financial literacy in schools, and what the latest financial literacy research is telling us.
